Alzheimer's and dementia
resident.
We have the King Alzheimer's and dementia unit that
provides
care
for those in the earlier
stages of Alzheimer's. This unit
is
designed
to enable residents to remain active and engaged.

Our other Meadows Alzheimer's Unit cares for
those in the later
stages of
dementia. The staff
and facilities endeavor
to provide the
highest dignity
and respect for everyone who resides here.

individual's needs and desires to put the
resident at ease.

Staff on both units receive special training
in interacting with later
stage
dementia. This
diminishes the anxiety
and behaviors that
often accompany
later stage dementia. An
in-house support
group
meets monthly to provide
families the opportunity to share
experiences,
creating a unique under-
standing of their loved one's
disease and comfort
with the care and
placement.
